Foundation Meeting 2004

From September 17 to 19, 2004 we finally held our official foundation meeting in the youth hostel in Rüdesheim at the Rhine. A long phase of organization and work found it's crowning conclusion.

At this weekend, more than 100 participants were guests in the youth hostel and enjoyed with us among other things the bright sunshine, even so it seemed for quite a while that we'd have to have a rain party.

Part of our event's social program was, besides the beverage booth with beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and our chapter beverage "Blue Water" (blue vodka-fig in small bottles with our chapter's coat of arms), a pizza booth, where our guests could have a bite between mealtimes.

In addition we had because of the kind support of the 1. Mainzer MC biker games like the schnapps slide and the nail block. At this place once again a heartfelt thank you to the boys and girls from the 1. MMC.

At Saturday we showed our guests in three different motorcycle tours the beautiful landscape in our area. The participants could choose between "long and relaxed", "speedy and demanding" and "curve emphasized quickie". This stood for tours from about 100 to 300 km.

During the official part at Saturday evening the mandatory welcome of the attending chapters took place. In addition we could hand over a donation of 2.500 Euro to the headmaster and assistant headmistress of the School for handicapped of St. Vincenz Seminary Aulhausen.

This donation became, among other things, possible through the raffle, for which our sponsors gave us generous prizes.

But also the celebrating and the cozy part didn't fall flat. We celebrated with live music from the band Heartbeat until late Saturday night. The mood was great and our guests seemed to feel comfortable. What more can you ask for as organizer?

Our party ended on Sunday after breakfast. Our guests bid their farewell one after the other and for us remained only the clean-up, until we too parted around noon.

This way we once again thank our guests. It had been fun to celebrate with you. And be assured: We'll reciprocate ...

We also want to thank Mrs. Otto, the headmistress of the youth hostel in Rüdesheim at the Rhine. Her active support has helped us immensely to make our foundation meeting a success.
